Terms of Service

About these terms

Rakumux is a product of Human Unsupervised Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us. They cover rakumux.com, Rakumux accounts and any hosted services we provide (together, “the Services”). By using the Services you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

The Rakumux software

The Rakumux app is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0. That license, not these terms, governs your use of the software. These terms apply when the software uses the Services, for example when you sign in. Other apps we publish may come with their own terms.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. To create one you must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information. Keep your sign-in details secure: you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at tony@humanunsupervised.com if you think someone else has used it.

Acceptable use

When you use the Services, don’t:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• access accounts or data that aren’t yours;
• probe, scan or bypass the Services’ security or usage limits;
• disrupt or overload the Services, including through automated sign-ups or excessive requests;
• use the Services to send spam or malware, or to harm others.

Your content

You own what you create. If a Service processes content you send it, you give us permission to process that content only to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to send it.

AI features

AI features, such as AI session titles, may produce inaccurate or incomplete output. Treat it as advisory and check anything important yourself. The Privacy Policy describes what each AI feature sends, and you can turn each one off on the Features page.

Fees

The Services are currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you the price and terms before you buy, and we won’t charge you without your agreement.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Services. Where reasonable we will give notice of significant changes. The Services may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Services and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or to protect the Services or other people, with notice where reasonable.

Our name and logo

The Rakumux name and logo belong to us. You may use them to refer to Rakumux, using the files on our brand page, but not in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product. The open-source code remains available under its license.

Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we don’t promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee to be limited, it is limited to supplying the Services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of AUD 100 and the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update them here and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website or email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
